What To Expect At A CryoPen Treatment

Consultation

Your journey starts with a comprehensive consultation, during which I will carefully assess your concerned area, discuss your aesthetic goals, and address any worries you may have. This consultation includes reviewing your detailed medical history to confirm your suitability for CryoPen treatment. Based on this assessment, I’ll create a customised treatment plan specifically designed to achieve natural-looking, refreshed results, depending on how many sessions you may need. Following your consultation, CryoPen will be prescribed and prepared for your treatment session.

Treatment

During your CryoPen session, a quick burst of nitrous oxide is gently applied to the area we’ve identified, whether it’s a skin tag, wart, age spot, or another small blemish. The cold targets only the lesion, freezing it with precision while leaving the surrounding skin untouched.

Treatment takes just a few seconds per lesion and most people describe it as a mild sting or cold sensation, nothing too uncomfortable. Afterward, the area might darken slightly or form a tiny scab, which will naturally fall away over the next few days.

There’s no need for dressings or downtime, so you’ll be free to get back to your day right away. It’s a simple, effective way to clear up those annoying little skin concerns, safely and quickly.

Aftercare

Keep the treated area clean and dry for the first 24 hours. A small scab or crust may form, this is part of the natural healing process.

Avoid picking or scratching, even if it flakes or peels. If irritated, apply a gentle balm. Not sure what to use? Just ask, I’ll ensure you’re confident before leaving your consultation.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming, and makeup on the area for 24 to 48 hours. Skip exfoliants and retinol for a few days. Daily SPF is essential to protect healing skin.

The lesion should naturally fall away within 7 to 10 days. If you notice redness, swelling, or have any concerns, please get in touch.
