My name is Jac Sherwood, and I founded La Cara Aesthetics, based in Hastings, East Sussex. I am an NMC Registered Nurse, trained to an advanced level in dermal fillers, Botulinum toxin, and skin rejuvenation treatments. I am fully insured to provide non-surgical cosmetic treatments and am a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN).

I have over 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse for the NHS and as a nursing sister in critical care for the last 10 years. I have an Enhancing Practice in Critical Care degree and am completing my BSc Hons in clinical practice.

My journey in facial aesthetics started in 2016 when I completed my initial Botulinum toxin and dermal filler training courses. I have since continued to invest in learning new aesthetic treatments and techniques. I am Level 7 qualified with the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies, and I am currently studying the V300 independent prescribing course at Portsmouth University.

I have always had a passion for beauty and good skin health, which I combine with my medical aesthetics training. In the clinic, I use safe injection techniques and the highest quality products. Your appointment will start with a full consultation to understand your needs, explain the treatments, and answer any questions.
